So you figured out the right KPIs for your business. Now, it’s time to figure out how to measure it on the website itself. That’s called a tracking plan and it helps you define how you measure each KPI. This document is your measurement blueprint.
We make sure the proper elements are tracking on your website in a way that makes business sense. In depth analysis of the right data can help you gain precious marketing and business insights.
We craft our measurement plans hand in hand with our customers. It’s important that they work with the people that will implement the tracking on the website and the ones that will use the data for their job.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS AUDIT AND DEBUG
Clean Data is Good Data
What’s the best way to shoot your online marketing in the foot? The answer is easy: an improper Google Analytics configuration. If you don’t track the right things or track them properly, you could seriously hinder your optimization efforts and affect your bottom line.
The same goes for your Google Tag Manager (GTM) account setup. GTM is the technical side of Google Analytics and if erroneous data gets captured and passed on from GTM to GA, then you end up with data you simply can’t trust or use.
That’s why we often support marketing and developer teams that are unsure of the quality of their data or the configuration of their Google Analytics or GTM account. This work often consists of an in-depth audit of the situation. We also sometimes help to rectify well-defined problems. However, this still requires a thorough analysis of what is at the root of the anomalies found.
DEBUGGING AND BRINGING A LITTLE MARIE KONDO TO GOOGLE ANALYTICS
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Accounts Setups
If you use Google Tag Manager and need to audit the setup, you’ve also come to the right place. Google Tag Manager or GTM audit help you document what’s been done and what needs to be fixed in your tracking.
We design our tracking plans to make sure that they are understood by everyone: those that implement the tracking in Google Tag Manager and those that will use the data later on. Google Tag Manager is a bridge between the code side and the marketing side.
If your team needs help figuring out their Google Tag Manager setup, give us a call.

- Account creation
- Adding users
- User training and onboarding
- Stakeholder interviews to determine KPIs
- Google Tag Manager setup
- QA of the technical setup
- Dashboard setup in Google Data Studio
We can help you audit, implement or debug your tracking in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
GOOGLE DATA STUDIO DASHBOARDS
Follow Your Performance at a Glance With a Dashboard
What is the value of data if you cannot analyze and interpret it? More importantly, how can they be exploited if it is necessary to spend hours searching through Google Analytics’ default reports?
We’ve worked with a few dashboarding solutions over the years (from Excel all the way to Tableau). We tend to prefer creating client dashboards in Google Data Studio. Why? Because it’s free, it’s relatively easy to set up and customize for each client. It integrates Google Search Console data, Google Analytics data and Google Ads data. If you want Twitter data, Facebook data or any other type of data in there as well, it will require a premium connector. That’s it. We won’t charge extra for monthly upkeep or finicky dashboards that only your analyst can use.
We can help you set up automated reports using Google Data Studio (or any other solution you prefer to use). Dashboards are great to help you monitor your marketing performance. We usually offer this service once we are sure that the Google Analytics setup works and that the data flows properly into Google Analytics.

E-COMMERCE TRACKING

E-commerce platforms require a more exhaustive list of technical optimizations to be enable marketers to track and collect pertinent data than your average website. Data collection processes are different for Google Analytics e-commerce vs Google Analytics enhanced e-commerce. We can help you set this up in WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento and more platforms.
We can help you implement the basic or enhanced e-commerce performance monitoring available in by Google Analytics. This requires more development time and more planning.
